- The single When You’re Gone, a duet with Bryan Adams,

- Melanie is in Liverpool House of Fame. The House of Fame has
a wall with more than 56 CDs of Liverpudlian artists to have number

- Melanie C is the only artist to have number 1 singles in the
UK as part of a quintet (Spice Girls), quartet (Spice Girls),

was the most successful US debut by a British act.
- Spice was the longest number 1 album in the 90’s. It topped
the UK album chart in November 1996 and spent 15 weeks at number
1 until May 1997.
- The Spice album is the 9th best selling UK album.
- They were the first band ever to have a debut album at number
1 for 5 weeks.
- Second English group to have wax figures at the Madame Tussaud’s
museum. The first one was the Beatles.
