KT Tunstall on the Spice Girls' concert:
Scottish singer KT Tunstall attended one of the Spice Girls' recent concerts, by invitation of Melanie C. Tunstall said in her blog: "The lovely Sporty Spice asked if I'd like to go to one of their shows, and of course I said too right I do, and sorry to disappoint any dissenters out there, but it was ACE!"

Rumours: Cancellation of concerts:
The rumours are that the Spice Girls will cancel the shows in Australia, China, Argentina, and South Africa after Mel B's interview on Al Murray's Happy Hour TV show, in which she stated that the tour will end on March 18th, with more dates for America.

Meeting the Spice Girls:
The winner of the Spice Girls' official site competition, Adam from Birmingham and his guest Simon, met the girls on the backstage of the girls' final concert in London. He said: “It was one of the best experiences of my life, thank you. Emma was absolutely lovely, she grabbed me straight away and gave me a kiss and then I had a chat with Melanie C. (...) It was brilliant seeing the show after meeting them too. We had seats right by the stage and Mel B blew Simon a kiss from the stage while Melanie C gave me a nod and a smile."

Spice Girls on Watchdog:
The Spice Girls featured on this weeks' episode of the TV show Watchdog, reporting a website that sold tickets for the tour but never sent the anything to their clients nor refund them. Download it HERE.

Technical problems at Boston concert:
During the performance of Spice Up Your Life (Reprise) at the Spice Girls' concert in Boston, yesterday, the audio was cut off but the girls kept performing with the low sound. Watch it HERE and HERE.

HELLO MAGAZINE - MEL ABOUT MOTHERHOOD
Posted on 29/01/2008 by Luisa Damulakis

From Hello Magazine:

"The only Spice not to have had children, Mel C confessed recently that seeing her bandmates with their kids on the reunion tour has left her feeling broody. 'I'd love to be a mother and at my age, the clock is ticking so I don't want to leave it too long,' the singer, who turned 34 last month, said in December. 'I do a lot of live shows and festivals, which is a lifestyle that won't suit a child, so I think I need to seriously consider taking time out.'
And once the mega-successful Spice tour comes to an end, it seems the perfect opportunity to make that change.
Last March, Mel revealed her dream vision for the future: raising a family with her long-term boyfriend Thomas Starr - who she calls 'my one forever' - at the house they share in the Monmouthshire village of Catbrook. 'I'm really excited about this next phase of my life,' she said. 'I daydream about living in Wales permanently and taking the kids to school.'
However, she recently admitted that she was worried the eating disorder she suffered in the early days of the Spice Girls may have hampered her chance of conceiving. 'I got so thin when I wasn't eating, my periods stopped and my bones became so fragile, I may have done permanent damage. I hope I'm still in with a chance.'
Her baby plans could get in the way of her musical aspirations, though. Mel, who set up her own record label, Red Girl, in 2004, will be focusing on revitalising her solo career. 'The tour has given her a huge boost, confidence wise,' explained a source.
Las month, during a two-day break from the tour, she played an acoustic set at The Mint in LA and has a gig in New York lined up for next week."

Interviews in Manchester:
With the shows in Manchester, the Spice Girls gave some interviews to Manchester Evening News and Yorkshire Evening Post, check out Melanie C's bits:
Will the Spice Girls make new music together?
"This is something we were asked when it came to the time of putting the Greatest Hits together. We did work on a couple of new tracks which are on the greatest hits. But this tour was to celebrate all our past successes. We have no intentions to continue as a group. We're big fans of Take That and they are really deserving of all the new success they are having. But we really don't want to follow that path. The whole show is about nostalgia. Also, we've seen our fans grow up and have their own children and there's a whole new generation of Spice Girls fans out there. Plus we've had the chance to appreciate it much more. Everything happened so quickly, so all-at-once first time around and we never thought about it ending. But now we know it can't last forever, so we enjoy every second of it."
About Manchester's campaign to have 3 dates on the tour:
"We actually have to say a massive thank you for that. I told the girls all about it, Mel B was over in LA and I actually woke her up because we were so overwhelmed by all the emails we received trying to get us here."

From TheSpiceGirls.com:

"The Spice Girls launched Sport Relief today by modelling this year’s t-shirt. Our fab five took time out from their sell-out, 17-night run at London's O2 Arena to pose for this picture, and Melanie C even found an ingenious way to show off the official socks… on her hands!

Melanie C told us: 'Signing up to do a mile for Sport Relief is such an easy thing to do especially after the post Christmas excesses.'

The girls added: 'Whether you're young or old, fit or unfit, most people can do a mile in one way or another and help poor and vulnerable people in the process.'"

From TheSpiceGirls.com:

"Woo hoo!! 2008, Happy New Year everybody, it's going to be a good one.

Myself and all the Spiceys had a great Christmas. We caught up with our families, ate lots of mince pies and got some well-needed sleep!

We got together for a New Year’s Eve dinner at Gordon Ramsay's fabulous restaurant in Claridges. We got dressed up and had a great night. It was really lovely to see in the New Year with all the girls. We celebrated all the fun times from 2007 and raised a glass (or seven) to the ones to come and to the people who make them possible… especially you guys. THANK YOU!

Although we all really needed some rest we couldn't wait to get back on stage. The first show back was quite scary after not performing for a few days, but it was a blinder! In fact, the show has got even more exciting, we are having a ball and our audiences seem to be getting better and better.

It's lovely to be at home, even though it's freezing! I'm really looking forward to the show on the 12th because it's my birthday and I've never performed on my birthday before and I can't think of a better way to spend the evening. We're of to Manchester in a couple of weeks and we're really excited to take the show up north… so it's happy days in Spiceworld.

Hope you're all well and are avoiding that miserable flu. See you soon.

Lots of love...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!

Melanie C"
