MELANIE AT RADIO FFN

On the same day of her performance at The Dome, Melanie
visited the FFN Radio in Hanover and talked a little about
the city: "I recorded my video First Day Of My Life here,
so I have a special relationship with this city!"
About the rumours of a possible Spice Girls reunion, she
said: "I'm regularly in contact with the other girls and
the invitation to Nelson Mandela's birthday is really flattering
- however with our other projects and families we simply
don't have time to do it."
Melanie also commented on her plans to do a huge tour to
promote the new album.

Melanie is in Berlin today and is going to participate
on a meet and greet with some winners of a competition made

In one of our searches for pictures to update the gallery,
we found two pictures of Mel from the DVD You Can Sing,
released in 2003. This DVD is a project made by the
vocal coaches Carrie and David Grant to teach how
to improve your singing abilities in 7 steps. As Melanie's
vocal choach, Carrie interviewed her about vocal techniques,
to put as an extra on the DVD.
Some days ago the DVD was finally brought by us and
we believe it's unseen for lots of people, so we've uploaded
the Melanie C's interview to Spice
Videos. For it being a video from a commercial
DVD, we're not planning on uploading it directly to
our servers, it's only available through Spice
Videos.

As the other girls kept meeting each other several times
on the last weeks, we're having even more rumours about
a Spice Girls reunion published in the media. Let's
check the most "interesting" ones:
The documentary:
Some websites published that Simon Cowell is trying to make
an agreement for his TV production company Syco to film
a Spice Girls documentary. The documentary will
focus on the girls’ individual lives since the split
and maybe it will also show their preparation for a one-off
charity gig...
Recording a new single:
According to News Of The World, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell
were photographed leaving a recording session in a Brighton basement
studio this week, and Melanie C is thought to have been
there also. The article affirms that Victoria Beckham and
Mel B - who are both in Los Angeles - will fly to England
to record their parts in a few weeks...

SOAPSTAR SUPERSTAR IN POLAND + GIG

Melanie
will sing on the TV show Soapstar Superstar from Poland on
May 19th. This TV show is a huge success in Poland and Edyta
Gorniak is one of the hosts... if you don't remember, she's
the original singer of Soul Boy, a song covered by Mel in
her album Reason!
According to the GS24
website, Mel will also perform a full gig in Poland, on August
5th at the Tall Ship's Races, Szczecin.

Melanie was nominated for this year's Scouseology
Awards, although she didn't win. The annual awards ceremony
is always held in Liverpool and Melanie has won in the category
"best work of an artist on the Internet" two times already:

interview and her first performance of Carolyna on TV! She
talked among other things, about her success in Europe (mentioning
that she's number 1 in Spain at the moment) and her problems
with depression and eating disorders in the past. Carolyna
will be out in Ireland on June 8th.

MELANIE OFFERS A HELPING HAND TO BRITNEY SPEARS

"Mel C has offered a helping hand to troubled Britney Spears.
The former Spice Girl has battled an eating disorder and
depression in the past and wants to offer the Toxic star
a shoulder to cry on.
And she feels she could coach Britney through a successful
comeback.
Mel said: 'I would love to work with Britney. There has
been so much press speculation about her personal life recently
- I think if I worked with her she might be able to express
herself through music. I have had similar personal problems
in my life, especially at the end of the Spice Girls, so

kept the tradition and is currently playing on the soap
opera "Ilha dos Amores". Now the informations are that Fragile
- the original b-side of the single The Moment You Believe
which was included as a bonus track in This Time Portuguese
edition - will be playing on the soap opera "Floribella",
that has one of the biggest ratings in Portugal!

Melanie C has confessed that she misses the luxurious lifestyle
