Former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm was forced to leave Bruce Springsteen's London gig early at the weekend - because she couldn't stop worrying about her baby daughter.
The singer gave herself a rare night off from looking after four month old Scarlet to attend Springsteen's Hard Rock Calling gig on Sunday (28Jun09).
But Chisholm left part way through The Boss' set to go home and see the tot.
She says, "I can't really enjoy myself as I can't stop worrying about Scarlet."

The star, who gave birth in February, tells me: 'I’m having so much fun being a mum. Time is flying by and she seems to be getting cuter by the minute.'

But Mel really wanted to talk about her new Live DVD from her gig at the Hard Rock Café in Manchester last year – with all profits going to the Caron Keating Foundation.

Mel says: 'This is a very special DVD. It was the last gig I did before having my little girl.

'It was actually a group of my fans who got together with the idea to produce this DVD and they’ve done an incredible job putting the whole package together. I’m very proud of them.'

She also reveals it won’t be long before she’s singing again. 'I’m looking forward to getting back in the studio and on stage later in the year,' she says.

Dragon tattoo removed?
Daily Star published yesterday an article about celebrity tattoos and mentioned Melanie: "Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm, 35, removed a dragon design from her calf while bandmate Geri Halliwell was left with a scar after lasering off a panther from her back."
Geri removed her tattoo a few years ago, but there's no confirmation about Melanie removing the dragon. Let's wait and see!

Melanie B said the following about Melanie C’s new exercise routines and their requirements: “I read about Mel C’s post-baby fitness regime and thought, ‘Good on her!’ I was surprised she has a trainer though, because she’s always been so good at doing her own workouts and training - she is Sporty Spice after all.”
