Posh Spice’s hubby, David Beckham, will be in Edmonton on Tuesday, May 13.Sporty Spice, a.k.a. Melanie C, will also be in town, prepping for her gig on Wednesday, May 14 at the Starlite Room.
Hmm... Could there be a mini-Spice Girls reunion in the works? Not sure. We don’t know if Posh will be joining Becks as his soccer team, Los Angeles Galaxy, plays the Vancouver Whitecaps at Commonwealth Stadium.
But... Melanie C wants to take in the match. “I’ll have to go and see him,” she says. “Thanks for bringing that to my attention. My boyfriend is in L.A. at the moment and he went to see them play Saturday (April 26). I’m going to put that in my diary! I have not seen David play in a long time — since he was at Manchester United.” Becks played for Man U from 1993 to 2003.
Her fourth album, This Time, was released in April, a few weeks after the Spices finished their reunion tour in Toronto. Who knows? Perhaps Becks will stay an extra day and attend Melanie C’s gig."
